Nah foot injuries do not take 6 years to heal lol. It's possible an unreported incident occurred in the last few months, but that's all I can think of.

Yeah, usually. It's a temporary boot anyway (velcro straps), he probably would have some sort of permanent shoe made if it had been a long time.
