Ha! So I was in our local Trader Joe's yesterday looking for my favorite cheese, English Blue Stilton (they were out, of course, it's backordered) and no wearing a mask. Now mind you, I live in a Red State that has no mask mandates and businesses cannot compel customers to wear masks here. But by some silent, tacit agreement, most Trader Joe's customers around here think that means WEAR A MASK or be considered on of the unwashed, possibly a Trump supporter. The withering and fearful looks I got were priceless. About 70% of customers in the store were wearing masks and trying to steer wide of anyone not wearing a mask... no verbal confrontations, but a decidedly awkward vibe as masked sheep tried avoiding being in the same air bubble of the unmasked. It was, shall we say, entertaining to watch. Left with some frozen wontons BUT NO BLUE STILTON CHEESE, dammit!
