One our church friends, a 60 year old thin, healthy and fit coach, took both jabs and the booster. He was "just trying to protect his family and friends." But he caught coof anyway. It turned into Pneumonia. He was then hospitalized. While in the hospital, he suffered a heart attack. I checked on him last week. He told me "It's a good thing I caught covid, or I might not have known I had a heart condition."

I just don't like it. So many of my dear trusting conservative church friends are vaccinated because they "just want to do the right thing" or " just want this to be over." My sweet momma (age 84) took the jab even though I tried to talk her out of it. Since she has taken it, she sees that it hasn't helped anything. She isn't going to take the booster. But it is hard waking people up. They still have the mindset of trusting their doctors. Poor momma. Her mind was sharp as a tack up until the shot. She is still good compared to most, but at times she seems like her mental status is really off key. And then she becomes lucid again.
