Sounds like you probably had the Delta variant; reports of people with omicron seem to all be pretty mild. I had covid a couple months ago, probably Delta too, and it was a horrible two weeks, but oddly, no significant, if any at all, lung congestion, at least that I could detect (an occasional cough was about it), but the fatigue was debilitating!
Yes! I couldn’t walk my first few days home. I’m just starting to go up the stairs and it’s week 4. The doc said my body went nuts because of the pregnancy hormones. My husband recovered within 4-5 days without issue.
I’m unvaxxed and finally recovering today, day 11. It was no joke. Scariest illness of my life.
