I've had a look through previous threads on the WIN network, haven't come across any on this topic yet.
From what I've gathered, a rapid-test can be done at home (I'm not sure if it's ever been used in a work-setting), and some places allow you to self-report whether you tested positive online.
From that, it stands to reason that even if the rapid tests could collect DNA, it's not a great avenue to do so, because they wouldn't actually get access to the physical test in some/most cases.
But, perhaps there are places which require you to submit proof of your positive or negative test, via sending in the test.
Or, they could eventually shift to such a system, citing that "people are being dishonest, and not reporting their positive tests".
Has anyone else seen information on rapid testing & DNA collection?
