My mother has been battling COVID for about 6 days. She's a strong lady but she just called sobbing. She said everything hurts and pain is a 9.
She has Multiple Sclerosis so we always knew that WHEN she got COVID it would be tough. She is unvaxxed. She has been taking Hydroxychloroquine and zinc... And just took some Ivermectin.
Is there anything else we could/should be doing? IV Fluids? Monoclonal Antibodies?
Thanks.
Over the counter Ibuprophen can be taken 4 pills at one time and they say it is the equivalent of a "real Pain Pill". Big glasses of water with 1/4 tsp of of salt added. (there is a reason saline is used to hydrate people) Make sure she gets one 325 aspirin per day. Dehydrated people do hurt much more. Is anyone able to assist her getting in and out of the tub? If you get a couple packages of Epsom Salts, use one whole package in a hot bath (add more hot water as she can take) Get the E S dissolved before she gets in. Very strong hot epsom salts soak for a minimum of 15 minutes, draws an incredible amount of pain out of the body. And the maganesium really helps with sleep. Guarantee that if she pushes vite C, like 4000mg per day, she will feel better next morning. Bless her heart. If she'd been vaxxed, and with ms, she would be very much worse right now.
