Was arrival the one with the twelve oblong craft in various loci across the globe and they sent in language experts to try and communicate with them? Upshot was that time is circular vs linear.

The movie Lucy also delves into the construct of time Then, of course, there’s Inception, Contact, the Matrix movies (inre perception vs reality) and probably many more. It’s interesting, to say the least.
