My sons best friend is National Guard here in California. He has been deployed twice for covid. He has not been deployed yet, nor is he on standby. I keep checking in with him.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but isn't it possible that activating the National Guard could mean activating SOME National Guard? Again, not trying to ruffle any feathers, just examining possibilities. =)

Of course, anything is possible at this point. He very well may not be included in a deployment. Just wanted to state what I knew regarding someone I know in the National Guard in California.
