I made a pit stop at ET Highway in Nevada once as I made frequent trips near there. Had to check out the "E.T. Fresh Jerky" place. Was a big letdown... They put ok money into the marketing (fun painted building, and scrap props/etc) but then when you enter the building, very underwhelming. It was just a generic convenience store with regular snacks (nuts, dried fruits, stuff with long shelf life) and they just sold some generic mass produced beef jerky (was on the back of the bag who made it, not local of course). I've been at trade shows where there'll be manufacturers that will let you brand your own jerky and stuff (I remember a company called Prime Snax that did their own line but also allowed you to rebrand their stuff), so was like "blehhhhh".
Would've praised them if they made their own shit and branded it like those Jason hockey mask burgers in Jason Goes To Hell.
Tastes like regular beef to me!
