What I've noticed is when people refer to others as "lizards", they're talking more about the way they behave, not their actual biology.
Surely it would be extremely far-fetched and strange if the Queen were a shape shifting lizard from outer space, but that's not what they're saying.
You might be surprised to learn that humans have what's called a "reptilian brain" which is a part of the brain which deals with impulses.
The idea is that through inbreeding, royal's don't have they same sort of sympathies as normal people. Not that they're actually reptiles.
