I saw the real article from M&M and I saw this. Firstly, this is funny. Secondly, I no longer care enough to comment on diverse M&Ms. Thirdly, there has to be something else driving this besides consumers. I saw on this site a post that mentioned the ESG giving trillions to companies to be woke. If this is true, I tend to think that yes there is something other than keeping loyal customers driving these decisions, then I think we need a new strategy as voicing displeasure just gives them more ammo and boycotting really won't matter very much. IDK.
Spot-on thinking! My hope is that the “new strategy” will be increasing numbers of people who see how phony “corporate wokeness” is. I hope it turns them off of Big Business - whether Big Food, Big Pharma, Big Tech, etc. - and turns them inward to local businesses, homemade/DIY, etc. Reject M&Ms, Return to Candied Pecans.
Not sure how likely that is. But a man can dream.
ESG is pushing this agenda. Yesterday Glenn Beck put out an hour special on it, it's on YouTube. Really good. I'v been passing it around to friends and family.
