Povidone-iodine nasal spray

Does anyone else do this? I made my own, diluted 10% down to 5%.. but everytime I spray in my nose it burns like hell.. im sure I will get used to it. This is what Dr. Mccullough recommends.. wondering if it burns for you guys too?

"Povidone-iodine is a chemical complex of the polymer povidone (polyvinylpyrrolidone) and triiodide" It has other ingredients besides iodine. It may be okay for external used but for internal you may want to look for lugol's solution. (100 mg/mL of potassium iodide and 50 mg/mL of iodine)
