He does have a point, though. We can't always be the arbiters of what is right, even if we're discussing something as simple as protecting the forum. But you also do have a point about them trying to depict us with whatever they project. It's a difficult problem. My idea is to simply just instead of banning people outright, have messages sent by people who would otherwise be banned appear on the bottom of all comments with no updoot or downdoot. That way, they can be in the conversation but simultaneously make it clear we don't support that.

And yes, I fcking know about history being rewritten but a) fascism is authoritarianism with the same socialist agenda but instead of controlling the means of production, they control the market and b) read the welcome message on the right.
