What about preventing harm.
This wasn't part of the original question:
By pushing this button you kill every pedophile on the earth instantly.
This is an all or nothing situation.
What if a pedophile is no longer engaged in pedophilia? Do I have the right to take his/her life?
The original question does not take this into account. Naturally, if it was in my ability to save a child that is in immediate harms way, I would do what I could to save that child. However, it would not necessarily mean that I would have to kill the pedo to do so.
Only God can judge a person's heart. That is why I defer to Him.
I respect you belief.
