I been waiting for someone to planefag and I would just list my observations. Yes, I saw the Q4. I was observing Sat-Sun.
At least 2 refueling tankers circled right above DC for a period of time on both days. Nancy Drews channel showed their contrails.
On Sat in the 11 O clock hour I watched 2 gulfstreams with the callsign Venus depart Andrews together. The ascended to cruise altitude and flew up to Niagra Intl airport. They descended like in a fashion to enter the landing pattern, but they just circled instead. They circled a few times, ascended and went back to Andrews.
On Sunday, I observed a convoy of 3 C130's leave Colorado Springs, Peterson Space Force. They headed East together and split off later. One went to Little Rock airport. I lost track because I had to do other things.
On Sun I just noted a lot of air traffic in general. E3, E6, Awacs and others. Also noted what felt to me like a large amount of C130.
Right now I am watching another Venus flight. Venus92 Turned its transponder on just East of St. Louis. Boeing C-32A and just passed Lexington KY. Headed East, Southeast.

Trying to determine what the gulfstreams on Sat were. Was it flying in tandem with one being a decoy? Training flights? Or pretending that someone was going somewhere?
Hi thanks for that info. I can't remember if it was yesterday (Sun) or the Saturday just gone, but I spotted 3 Gulfstreams departing DC with another small seat biz jet (I forget which one) all at the same time. A C130 was coming into DC from the North.
These 4 aircraft sure looked all co - ordinated, with at least 2 coming out of JBA and one out of Davison, and I didn't catch the last.
And the "sub hunters" pretty busy there as well.
One interesting fact I found out about that whole area where the sub hunters were active (I counted 10 P8's around that East coast a few weeks ago) is that it's also the same area where the infamous "Tic Tac" UFO footage came from, with sightings over the ships and jets daily around 2004 ish.
More P8's in and out of the area now.
Yes Monkey has been talking about this area for a while, certainly a lot of sub hunters active there these last few weeks.
Then a few days ago another P8 was grabbing data of the West coast, flew the patterns several times.
That Q4 was searching, it's gone off radar now but will keep watching for it. A bit of chatter in the press (saw a presser where they asked if there was a rogue sub) would be quite fitting,
"Give me a ping, Vasili. One ping only"
And another 2 P8's working the Chesapeake bay area as well. Running tight grabs.
