Ie; as you said, awake vs asleep.

Funny how they talked about it 2000 years ago in the Bible. Same verbiage and all.

Well, sometimes it's referred to as the 'dead' and the 'resurrection from the dead', but mostly it's stated as asleep vs awake, or drunken vs sober, or night vs day.
