Lost a friend from high school to leukemia, he was 28 when he died and had a 2 year old son :( He was healthy as could be, completing an iron man triathlon just a few years earlier.
He was diagnosed a couple weeks before his death, went in for his first treatment and they gave him too much... burned him up, he was dead in just a couple of days. So sad.
I just think about his young wife & son.... 2 weeks earlier they were a happy family with the entire world in front of them.... and he was gone in a blink of an eye. RIP Rusty
I think chemo is pretty much a death sentence. After watching what it did to my uncle, if I'm ever diagnosed with cancer I'll take my fucking chances. Sorry for your loss, I know it sucks. Hopefully the plan involves a medical revolution
Thank you, I am really sorry for your loss too. I hope you are right about the medical revolution. I am afraid to think of what the people will do when they find out all this pain and suffering was avoidable, and that our family and friends were put through hell to line the pockets of the greedy elites.
I had a boss many years ago that found out he had cancer and decided to not treat it. At the time I was angry and could not understand why he wouldn't at least try and fight it, he was probably late 50s or around 60 at the time. I still thought he had a lot of years left and that he should try to live. But now after seeing several friends and family wither away to nothing with the cancer treatments absolutely wiping out their vitality and quality of life, I think he made the right choice. The cancer ended up taking him 6-12 months after he told everyone, but I am happy that he didn't have to suffer from the treatment.

I think we are watching the beginning of the medical revolution.
