Not to be "that guy," but 2 Chronicles 7:14 is one of the most misinterpreted verses in Scripture. It was directed specifically to the ancient Israelites right after Solomon's temple was built. In fact, God is speaking to Solomon. It does not apply to present-day America or any other country.
That’s sad thinking. Please don’t let your next comment be that Matthew 6:9-12 is only reserved for the 12 disciples that walked with Jesus. I’m for living in the good & righteous examples God gave us & to avoid the bad examples the people lived by.
I have no idea what you're talking about as far as being "reserved for the 12 disciples." I will say that the Lord's Prayer was never intended to be repeated over and over again, as it would lose it's meaning. Rather, it is a "model" prayer that was intended to teach them (and us) how we should structure our own prayers.
