I don't agree on the first part, gonna deep dive the posts awhile. And the last part about biz as usual is totally off, plenty of white hat victories going all the way back to the Saudi flip up to the Virginia election. Covid restrictions ending, mass civil disobedience.. the doom list keeps getting shorter.

the pushback is effective at waking many up, but the Covid restrictions "ending" is just them retrenching. Scott Gottlieb said it directly:

The only way to get compliance from people and get accommodation [is] if we demonstrate the ability to withdraw these [mandates] in the same manner in which we put them in,” Gottlieb added.

new signals that more deadly bugs are coming.
