There is nothing wrong with HOPE, and the word “hopium” is yet another example of manipulation - it’s used to make fun of people that have hope, exactly like the words “conspiracy theorist” were designed to mock those of us who question settled science or history or mainstream media
If you’re new here you haven’t experienced the full context of “hopium” — it is not used to mock or make fun of people.
You can ‘smoke hopium’ to feel better, you may caution that an unsauced post is so much hopium. But the point is hopium drives feelings over facts.
