I always wondered why not a combination, solar powered but also took fossil fuel, do it charges in the daytime using the fuel and at night it runs off the solar, could be useful for powering the cabin when you are sleeping for simple things like keeping warm or cool or if you have a small TV ect. Why was it always one or the other?
