The bridge that just collapsed in the city of Pittsburgh was set to be restored in 2016. Instead of replacing the completely rusted out supports, they used cables and diverted the money to bike lanes, green energy programs and lanes for self driving cars.

Would've been nice if you left a source here so we could share it. Without a story talking about the bike lanes, etc. its just a story that could've been made up.
The source was on Twitter and every time I post a Twitter link I get a bunch of s***. So I copied the text from the heading and a picture from the post and put it on here. I'm not going to try and find that Twitter post again.
