My worry is that the truckers want to get paid so they will give up after a few weeks. But they can wait a while and do it again, and again as well.

I believe that's part of the plan for the GoFundMe account but I am not sure about that. I would hope they plan to help with funding some income for those who stay until the mandates are dropped.
