There was an episode last week where they were talking about the Ukraine thing and Gerald said a couple of times about history doesn't repeat, but often rhymes. I've never heard that saying before, but it checks out. :)

The other quote, about waking a sleeping giant, is attributed to Admiral Yamamoto after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.
People argue the source of these quotes but it doesn't matter. They are applicable to what's going on in Canada. Heck, what's happening in the world.
