China produces nearly all the worlds fertilizers and they are now extorting the west who actually grows stuff. This was part of the cabals plan to starve us out. Our crooked govts sold us all out with regulations, because making fertilizer isn,t very GREEN. Time we all grow up ,learn to grow stuff or at the very least not take our farmers for granted.
We buy organic compost from a local supplier. They make it from plant matter from all over the city that people bring to them. My garden was so happy last year (:
Also the tariffs that Trump imposed on China include fertilizer and fertilizer distribution equipment. Not sure if we should roll that back but it probably isn't helping matters.
It’s never to late to get started! May not be totally self sufficient but should be able to feed yourself and family longer than those who have no idea
I have stopped throwing away banana peels, eggshells and coffee grounds. I dehydrate the banana peels and put them in a blender before storage. Those three are all great sources of nutrients for your plants.

We're already paying for the fertilizer. The tariffs just make it more expensive for American farmers which was the whole point of this post.

That’s a great idea!! I just got a dehydrator. How do you store the eggs shells and coffee? Vacuum seal?
Correct. I will include having a compost bin or two.
