Ahh the description doesn't do it justice, but I'll try... Each chapter is told as a kind of dream journal as though it was written by Edison & each has a different concept of time. I read it well over a decade ago, but I remember a couple of chapters made it worth reading because they really messed with my head 🐸
They're both badass, but I didn't know the difference until recently. Bioluminescent would be things like the algae that makes the ocean glow or a firefly (which was also a fun show😁). The organism itself produces the light (something something chemical reaction🐸) With biofluorescence, living things absorb light/energy & emit a different color of light. Wild stuff👌
