I went down to Florida recently to meet up with an online friend. I knew he wasn't a Trump fan, but he managed to get himself to work himself into a rant a few times, and I found half of what he says is much what I hear to right saying. It's just Trump in particular he seems to not like. It isn't the first time I've noticed this with someone; I have long since noticed that much of what right-leaning people says today is what the left was saying 10-15 years ago.
How about you all? Do you find lefties just hate Trump?
They hate him because he’s too literal. He means what he says and follows through. That’s not a positive thing in the minds of people who want their “leaders” to be simple minded “peace” bringers that don’t actually DO anything. The FEW people I know that straight up hate Trump are those who think “most people are genuinely good” when we all know any one of us has had a time where we know we aren’t lovable (thank you Jesus for your covering Love). NO ONE is good and until they see that in themselves, they will project it onto others. I know I’m a piece of sh*t sometimes, at least I can admit it and ask Jesus to keep my eyes set on Him and my heart set on serving others.
