Cops were there, not a hint of violence from neither the police or protestors. Was a beautiful protest, cops would go ahead of the parade and shut the street down and redirect traffic to make way for the protester. It was good vibes all around, people dancing, shouting for their rights and freedoms, no looting, no LITTERING (from what I saw). All sorts of support from bystanders in their vehicles and their balconies. It seems like the "fringe minority with unacceptable views" is actually alot bigger than they fear!
