I was waiting at the pharmacy to pick up the numerous medicines that my elderly mother takes, and I could not help but notice a couple of Life Magazine Cover page stories. The one that stood out was JESUS, who do you say I am? Then I saw another one talking about the Dead Sea Scrolls. I did not pick them up to read them. I just thought that it was interesting to see two LIFE magazines both with that type of cover page story.

They run big photo issue collector type mags like that periodically. You could just as easily have seen one about the life of Elvis or Marilyn Monroe. Grocery store has them all the time. I always chalked it up to a cynical attempt to boost sales of a $15 dying print format mag
