There are at least three major groups in the CCP: President Xi's supporters, the "Princelings" who are the descendants of the original powerful Communist families, and the State Security. This insult would suggest that your beautiful and popular politician is part of the CCP State Security group. This is interesting since they are the ones who are challenging XI for total control of China in the looming elections. I suggest that Xi would benefit if the security bosses lose a few billion dollars?
