He's so confused about what side of the fence he's on I think it just depends on what way the wind is blowing for his opinion to land. There was a show I watched called Atypical (decent show minus the lebsian bullshit the teen girl just 'had' to go through) about an autistic kid who was kind of finding his way in life. Rapaport's character was this knuckle dragging retard who couldn't understand why his wife was cheating on him... I have a feeling he didn't have to dig too deep to find inspiration for his character.

I don’t think he had to dig far for Higher Learning either. Starts college as a dopey, naive kid but transforms into a hard core white supremacist by the end.
