The song is "We Are the World" by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie for charity USA for Africa. There were like 30 some recording artists involved back in 1985. It's been released several times for famines and disasters. It was quite a joyful experience back then and was wonderful to see so many people come together to sing this song.
Ok - enough singing. When do we hit the Best Buy? I need a new flat screen tv.
The voice that comes in at the 35 second mark is not a retarded child. It's Bob Dylan.
Whenever I hear it, I'm always reminded of this:

I think it's "We Are The World".
No, it’s from the We are the World tour during African famine in 1980’s. Not a Christian song.
You gave your age away, most likely in your 20s or 30s. All boomers and generation Z remember well the “We Are The World” song.
Mostly 40 year Olds. I was 6 in 1985. In my early 40s now
I was going to include possibly early 40s too. Thinking maybe your generation was watching more MTV than Sesame Street when youngsters and if that was the case you would’ve heard and known the song “We Are The World”.
