The problem is, the public who were tricked into hating Trump actually endorse the bias. They think it's morally justified. They think someone as horrible as Trump must be scourged in the media, it's their duty to call out the evil. And in a cycle of stupidity and arrogance, today's journalists actually believe they HAVE to be this way. They're drunk on assumed moral obligation and a sense of power that they can flaunt the cardinal sin of journalism.

I've come to understand Trump's big push against 'fake media' more and more every day, how it was central to waking up the people.
