The intelligence, prosperity, knowledge and freedom that had been hypothesized turned out to be a game of mirrors. The conclusion after 30 years of the Internet is clear! The web has become our prison. The Internet is the tool that made globalism possible. It was a mass control project ... not liberation. Looking back over the last few years it is absurd that only a few have noticed how much everyday life was changing. It seems that the Internet has opened the door to falsehood and stupidity, to mass propaganda and psychosis, to cognitive dissonance and ignorance. We have put too much power into the hands of corporations and governments to hope they would not use it against us. The Internet as it has been developed represents the greatest threat to mankind and the advent of Artificial Intelligence will contribute to the digital slavery into which we have fallen.

And I'm arguing that the internet didnt cause where we are, simply opened our eyes to how bad it is.
Propaganda, brainwashing, mass psychosis. These are all psychological tactics that have been employed on the populace for centuries.
We are only now so aware of it, because we can hear our fellow men, talk about their brainwashing and hear what they believe.
Look at any country that supported communists years ago, look at North Korea, look at Africa.
All victims of propaganda and control without the internet.
We're only now aware of how bad people can be brainwashed.
Yup. The internet opened our eyes. Blaming the internet is blaming it for opening our eyes to evil.
