From all I've heard, something occurred in 2012 that shifted Earth onto a different timeline. It was done by Source/The Light, and manifests itself in these Mandela effects. I'm an not sure why this was done, but it has to do with the events occuring now regarding ascension and the rising in vibrations of the planet itself and its inhabitants.
