I would guess they did this as a result of an alarming number of chargeback/cc dispute requests and had to limit their loss.
They were definitely informed that they would be essentially kicking a bee's hive if they cancelled the freedom convoy donations, but surely didn't pay attention to that. I don't think they paid attention to the warnings of the chargeback either.
I don't think they actually thought that there was any recourse for patriots and we would again just take it. We didn't -- I sure they were flooded with emails, a logistical nightmare if were were thousand, and probably monitored social media to find out the response and realized there was potential to lose money. They flinched.
