I am going to forward this document to the Colonel who is assisting our unit with our Religious Accommodation Requests, and see what he thinks about this.
I am not in the military so please take this with a grain of salt, but if you state concern about the health effects, could that possibly detract from the weight of your Religious Accomodation Request? Since your request relates only to your personal religious beliefs about putting things in your body, this data (or anything relating to vaccine health effects) probably cannot do anything to help you get a religious exemption, but questioning the health aspects might make people doubt whether religion was the real reason you were requesting an exemption. Because under military policies, concerns about the health effects are not a valid reason to refuse.
I guess what I meant was that if it's a religious exemption then I would assume the reason for requesting the religious exemption would have to be related to religion, but I guess I had that wrong.
