It wasn't a family member, but the guy who was in charge of M&A at my old company. This was when they were pushing the OSHA database registration last fall and there was a company wide Zoom meeting about it. Apparently his internet was down so he sent an email out to everyone afterwards. How the mandate was eventually going to happen everywhere, not just companies with more than 100 people - soon 50 people, etc. It is safe, blah blah and the kicker line was 'if you just would turn on the TV and watch the news!' I read it to my mom and she commented that it was one of the most condescending things she had ever heard.
