Many of Hollywood actresses are male.

When I read 11, the first thing I thought of was Shakespeare and the Globe Theatre. Supposedly, women weren't involved in the theatre, as it was considered too vulgar of a profession, so young men played the female roles. Knowing now that a lot of history is wrong, it makes one wonder if there isn't more to this story.
