One of the first accurate Bible teachings I ever heard, the teacher who I came to respect as a great Man of God said this line "we aint wimps for Jesus" and "We are Sons of God with All Power" and a stern admonishing to never let people walk all over you. To STAND on the Word of God and watch what happens. The old testament calls them Mighty Men of Valor. It was the first time I heard anything in Christianity that made sense.
It allows perfectly for a man to Love with the Love of God and to receive God's best. Most of you think it means being a bully, it doesn't, it has only to do with your frame of mind in taking a stand RESISTING evil. Its renewed mind courage, total trust in God and unwavering commitment to continue until God wins it for you. And yes, sometimes it becomes physical. Being prepared for that also helps but usually doesn't end up happening. A strange and wonderful thing.
