My wife likes to stay up all night reading this site on her phone. I was thinking that I might get her a Kindle Paperwhite to ease the strain on her eyes. Has anyone tried to access the site with one of these devices? BTW the lower light might allow me to get more sleep ( the real reason ).

If your wife has any kind of vision issues, get her the Paperwhite. It's much easier on your eyes than reading on a tablet. The light shines across the screen and not in your eyes like a tablet. I read all the time with my guy fast asleep and the light never wakes him. This is with a normal black font on white screen. White on black is also very difficult if you have vision issues. BTW, I got the Kindle because of vision problems and it's easier on my eyes than printed books. I have a Kindle Oasis now but had a Paperwhite for years.
But don't count on it for looking at any site on the internet. It's all black and white and very slow. If she wants to do both and has no vision issues, get a tablet. The Kindle tablets are nice and not very expensive. Amazon often has sales on them and the readers too. Splurge and get her one of each if you can.
