As far as we are concerned, I dont think the traffic that finds us is due to our posts featured in the communities front page, so I dont think this will affect us based on what they outline in this post.
Of course they have, if they ever even had our interests at heart. Why is cuck roundup omegacanada.win still in the main site bar? u/Ham_Sandwich77 (the owner and mod) spent the last 2 years calling anti mask and anti vaxx mandaters “nazis”.
There’re a lot of cucks involved in the running of this site. We also know voat was run by satanists and they shut it down when they ended up basically hosting a Q board. Q said 4ch is comp’d and 8ch doesn’t seem the same since he left. We don’t really have any place we can trust… which perhaps makes the impending arrival of Truth more relevant than we think.
But how the fuck we gon’ be comfy on a censored board.
I think grown ups can adjust to not saying fuck and motherfucker and "everything is the fault of the fkn jews" etc. Might have to polish up the written communication skills. I will miss my profanity a lot, but I want Truth to be a place even my 13 yr old grandaughter can go learn. Let her public school classmates fulfill any vulgarity she thinks she needs to hear.
It seems to me the original theme of this site, and this is what attracted me to it, was that it was a pro Donald Trump site. It has become clear to me, judging from the moderation or non moderation of sometimes shocking and obscene material, that the moderators are of a very young mentality. I have seen statements from moderators claiming this site now wants to be entirely non-partisan and politically neutral. In other words, they came from Reddit and want to evolve back to Reddit. This constellation of sites will eventually become Reddit 2.0 and the moderators will will start dancing. That's the end goal, that's the game, and that's the end of this story. Eventually the moderation will become more and more liberal, until there is no difference between Reddit 1.0 and Reddit 2.0.
I also noticed a comment about the changes that for now, the various communities will be listed in alphabetical order. At some time later they would appear in order of size. Now read between the lines. Alphabetical order is to keep the original communities related to Trump and Q buried in the list, until some asinine community becomes popular and they can proudly display it at the top of the list. As long as it's not Trump related. Get it?
I'm pretty convinced the admin and moderators, whoever they are this month, have decided to transform the platform into a clone of Reddit. But with the political content somehow buried so it's "not always in your face." And something about cats. That's an improvement?
Apparently a low-budget video series about some degenerates in an RV is much more interesting to the new management than anything Donald Trump could do. What are they, 12 years old?
Certainly is why I came here, for Trump and for reality-checks. The OG the_donald became patriot.win. It's nasty there. On GA at least for now it is fairly "live and let live". The Faithful co-exist with the rabid potty- mouths, neither attacking the other, for the most part. Christianity.win, even though I am a person of faith, is just overboard for me. I hope GA keeps it's shit together.
So not having any info prior to this post about any of this stuff, would it be fair to summarize this in saying that the non-political/apolitical sections of the site want to split away from the rest, predicated on the notion that the political side will inevitably bring down attacks (ddos, hack stuff etc) that at the moment impact everyone here?
In principle I dont have a problem with it, I dont see how it detracts from here or p.w in any way to have this separation, assuming it doesnt mess with getting code updates done in a timely way, resilience etc. If my summary of the reasoning is correct, then I also think it will fail in its stated goals in avoiding attack purely by changing names, since the the sort of people attacking will not care what the name is, and will still want to be a nuisance out of sheer spite. The historical association with here and p.w means that people will hate communities.win wherever they go, and whatever they rename to.
With that said, I hope I'm wrong about that last part.

Like anything I look a bit deeper and the pioneers of this site may lose control and power. That is what makes me uneasy.
Some believe they already have.

I’m willing to give it a chance but I can’t really think without nazis and flat earthers beaking me…
