Though this is a meme, dont discount when some one-in-a-million event results in media immediately discounting a specific cause, when there is no way that that cause could ever have been discounted.

Like when Notre-Dame burned, and even while it burned papers were saying that malicious arson had been ruled out. Because surely these teams of intrepid arson investigators courageously entered the blazing inferno to rule this out immediately... no higher priority existed.. certainly not trying to extinguish the blaze or evac priceless artifacts.
