I was there... Was pretty disappointed with what I saw in terms of trucker support. It was 95% pickup trucks and a handful of semis. That said, it was still a great sight to see a decent number of people protesting.
Also the fact that the protests on each side of the road were split by several blocks made the task of containing and dismantling it much easier.
so, if you arrest a trucker, he becomes another mouth to feed at the local jail,
in the meantime, all that freight he used to haul, isn't moving anymore.
in a way, it would be ironic if the jail ran out of food, because the guy who delivers the food, is inside the jail
meanwhile, the Canadian Parliament is fixated on Confederate flags, Nazi flags, and pissing on the grave of the unknown soldier,
while completely ignoring the actual reasons the truckers are protesting.
government need to understand, they work for the people, not for the crown.
