Wait.. What?

I didn't know that the CDC could set drug prices.

But then again. I was astounded that the CDC apparently had the ability to tell all the landlords in the USA that they weren't allowed to charge rent.

That made zero sense to me. I don't recall that being a power granted in the Constitution to the executive branch. But you know, I'm not a lawyer or a legal scholar.
