Yes. Many times through the Bible it says how people cried out to the Lord. Cry out. You know what to do, you’ll get the message or hint or however it comes. Seek help for your addiction or whatever your affliction is. You will have to make steps. Remember you work for God. And with that God loves you so much, He sent his only son, to die for you. Think about that. Died for you and all your sin. And mine. Jesus’s hand is outstretched, all you have to do is give in to Jesus Christ. And live eternal with Him.
Nothing wrong with drinking a beer..being an alcoholic is. Being out of control is not of Christ. Worshipping God is following in His footsteps. We will fail. But failing means trying. Staying an alcoholic, or heroine addict is not trying. If you believe it is, you may be listening to the wrong voice in your head. And yes God will still help you, by taking away the bad. In the meantime, you’ll lose you job, your family, your house, car, health...may be a laying in a hospital bed as a vegetable...and God may finally have you all to himself, because then you have nothing but time to praise and worship Him. See how this could go? Or you may not. Understand God will put you on your knees, of that’s what it takes for you to finally give in to Him. Pray He does. Cause if your a lost cause...then God have mercy on you.
Yes it can. I've been clean from drugs and alcohol for 12 years now after begging and pleading for God's help. I did the work and he gave me the discipline.
Well I am not a super religious person I can appreciate when someone finds their strength through religion to overcome struggles in their lives. This is a good video clip of the former male pornstar Randy Spears who was the most successful one in the business at the time discussing when he cried out to be helped and how it changed his life and now he's a Christian.
