In my opinion if they do not stand their ground now they will never gain the upper hand. They are taking the hill - it is a physical, transparent operation and presence and they have the support of the majority.

If the go home and refuse to work, they will be demonized for refusing to deliver and the military could/would be used to distribute supplies but of course only what Trudeau thinks people need. Worse yet, the truckers would be hunted down like the Jan 6 protesters in the dark of the night without thousands of witnesses.
