Something was different today. They were reporting on mandates being lifted by provinces, what's going on with protests, and the vote on the Emergency Measures Act. I can't exactly pinpoint it specifically with cold, hard evidence, but it's extremely noticeable about the overall TONE. I heard it in the voices of the on-air hosts and reporters as well as the controlled "experts" being interviewed: the sound of people who know they are facing imminent defeat. The word DOOMING came to mind. This is the first time I've heard such tone in such a pervasive extent.
This tells me that they truly believed their own propaganda, but more importantly, it told me that We the People are prevailing ...
And they can barely hide it anymore!
Glorious!

Everyone, leftist or not, wants their life to have meaning - See Viktor Frankl Man's Search for Meaning https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/3389674-trotzdem-ja-zum-leben-sagen-ein-psychologe-erlebt-das-konzentrationslag, which was a very helpful book for me during a trying time in my life.
Example quote: "Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to chose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way"
The trouble with leftists is, they give this last freedom away. They want someone else to dictate their meaning. They choose victimhood and slavery, and let others dictate their "attitude"
I remember the first time I heard that quote, it was so impactful. Never lost a bit of that impact to this day. Thanks for spreading it.
That's one of the basic tenets of the philosophy of Stoicism. Basically you are in charge of how you feel, not external circumstances.
Jesus taught much the same when he said in Matthew 6: "25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"
