Eating carbs does not make you fat. Eating the wrong balance of carbohydrates makes you fat, eating the right balance of carbohydrates gives you the power to build muscle and utilize protein properly, using protein synthesis to build muscle which increases your metabolism. If I didn’t eat carbs I would never have lost all of the weight that I did I would have of built as much muscle as I did I would not be in the shape I am today.
I literally would not have a six pack if I didn’t eat carbs.
Good carbs in the right amount helped me endlessly.
Carbs make you fat?
I’m sorry, that’s shit science. No one‘s going to get fat eating broccoli. If that’s all you eat,and you don’t eat fats or protein, sure I guess it could make you fat if you ate 22 heads of broccoli every day.
And really, that wouldn’t do it, either. If you mean potato chips and cookies, then yes, those are bad. But if you mean carbohydrates as far as broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, etc., you would literally need to eat 12 pounds of vegetables every day in order to get fat IF you are completely sedentary.
If you just walk a mile a day and eat 12 pounds of veggies, you’re going to lose weight because of calories in and calories out. You’ll also lose muscle, you’ll be skinny and pathetic, because you’re not eating any protein and you’re not working out. But you could literally live off the vegetables and get enough calories to survive and not gain any fat and then fact you’ll lose quite a bit, but you also lose muscle and be weak as shit. Carbohydrates are not your enemy. You need them to work in conjunction with protein and fat.
Nothing effects your physique more than muscle gain/retention and protein synthesis.
Without good carbohydrates, it makes it almost impossible to use fat and protein properly in your body to either retain or gain muscle, and nothing burns fat faster than getting more muscle.
