For those not in the know, CBC is almost entirely government funded. Even more so than the other networks which just get a nominal loyalty fee from the government. So basically:
Government funds CBC so they must report what the government tells them.
CBC reports what the government orders them to report.
Government claims they are invoking Emergency Powers Act (aka War Measures Act) not because they want to but because CBC told them to.
Anyone see an issue or multiple issues with this. It's political theater.
At least in the US, the relationship between the Democrats (and Rinos) is more subtle. There is a pretense of independence.
